Last weekend was Labor Day and the unofficial end of summer (mine is officially when school starts). I don't have many pictures from the last couple weeks, we have been busy with starting back to school and me dealing with turning 30. We did celebrate with a good old-fashioned driveway party but there is no photographic evidence, sorry. Derek also took me out to eat at
Fogo de Chao on the KC Plaza, it was delicious and filling (snaps for Derek!) Now that all that is behind us, we can get back to a semi-normal life. I did dig these pictures up for your viewing pleasure!

Helping make the bed, well more like unmake it!

Wyatt and Don Callow playing in the sand. We attended Callow bash at Big Lake again this year. This is the only picture I took; but we did get to see Jessica and Wes
Uhlmeyer and Sweet Baby Ethan!!! He is so cute and hairy and a great addition to their family.

The big summer project that started a month late, new corrals and fences on the farm! We have traced the age of the previous fences to at least the late 1940's. Those have all been torn out and pipe fences put in with a new
waterer for cattle and dogs and 2-year
olds!

Woodie the dog enjoying some fresh water!

Parenting experts tell you to give your child "chores" to do to make them feel like a worthy part of the family. This is not hard for me to do with Wyatt, he ALWAYS wants to help! Here he is helping load his laundry. He also like to unload the dryer, carry empty buckets back to the barn, and feed the cats. And for 2, he does a great job!
Do you like our laundry audience? That is Tapioca and Cocoa, our backdoor cats. They are almost always sitting in the window watching us and waiting for some food (from the hand of Wyatt)
