Pictures from Grandma's camera

Helping Grandma with the laundry, he is good at unloading things. (especially cabinets.)

Our little daredevil would like to ride around in his wagon like this, but us fun-hater parents won't let him. What happened to us?

Riding his horsey in his suspenders (Derek's old old ones). Just trying to keep his pants up!

His crawling days are numbered here, pretty soon all we will have are walking pictures!

Wyatt really enjoys his 'new' tricycle at Grandma Terri's house. She had kept Derek's old tricycle and got it out the other day. He can't use the pedals yet, but he loves to be pushed around the driveway!

Wyatt and Grandpa Bill doing a little mowing!

"I think I can do it myself Grandpa!"

"Mmmmmwaaa" This is Wyatt blowing Mommy a kiss, this is his newest trick!

Terri has been busy in the basement, she also dug out Bill's old highchair, that was used by Derek. She is working on getting it refinished.

Summer is Over!

Argh! Summer is over, at our house at least. August 19th was my first day back to school and things were a little hectic at our house this morning. Derek was getting Wyatt some breakfast, well Wyatt's new trick is to take a big drink of juice and then let all the fluids run out of his mouth all over his shirt! So a new change of clothes was in order and trying to feed all the animals we keep gaining at our house (1 dog, 2 inside cats, 4 outside cats, and a bunny) and we were scrambling. Here are some picture of the last couple weeks of summer freedom!
Afternoon naps, what a luxury of the young!

Here is our dog, Woody. She is a young lab that must have been dumped at our house. She will not leave and chews up everything! We now have to chain her when we are not around but she is super nice - just really hyper! Wyatt sort of likes his corral, especially when the dog can't lick him to death.

MO State Fair! Here is Wyatt with Gage Swindler, son of our friends Justin and Erika Swindler. Justin and Derek were pledge brothers at Alpha Gamma Rho. You can't tell who their dads are at all!
Wyatt liked looking at the fish in the Conservation building. My dad liked getting to hang out with Wyatt (Mom too!)
Wyatt with Grandma Terri and Grandpa Bill at Rib Crib.
Ride 'em cowboy! Maybe Wyatt will become a team roper like our friend Melanie!
A stuffed black bear stood in the front door of the restaurant, we were trying to get Wyatt to pet the bear. He did not really want to but complied.

Wyatt and Cole Schweizer at Pizza Shoppe. After watching Allison and I try to feed, entertain and pick up after the boys during dinner, Derek said he was really glad we didn't have twins! (Which he had said would be cool during my pregnancy.)
" What is all this stuff, looks like this shelf needs to be unloaded." Wyatt likes doors and items behind doors. This is a common sight right before his bath.
Yeah water!!!!! Wyatt loves bathtime and playing with his basketball set from Janae and Adrian. He also likes to pick up the cups in the tub and throw them out, usually half-full of water.

Welcome the Jost's!

Another one my friends has stepped up and started blogging! Welcome the Jost family, Rikki was a Sigma Kappa with me at Mizzou. Her and her husband, Gregg, has the cutest little boy Sam who is about 6 months older than Wyatt. I am sure they will have some wild stuff on their posts!

Wyatt's trip to Ma and Pa's house

A couple weeks ago I went to the summer Ag teachers conference in Springfield - I dropped Wyatt off with my parents in Sedalia and Cara (Savannah Ag teacher) and I headed down for a fun and tiring week. Here are a couple pictures that my Mom took while Wyatt was staying with them. They bought him a little pool to play in during his stay. He loves to be in the water - as long as it is not cold.
Wooo, that is a bit chilly Grandpa!
Wyatt and Ma went for several walks, to the City Park down the street. She said he liked to swing and bounce on the bee! My Mom was already making plans for next year when I have to go down to the Ag teachers conference and Wyatt will come stay with her!
