Fall Catch-up

Fall is flying by! We have kept busy but are also enjoying the calm before the holiday storm! Last Friday night (the 13th!) we went to the Nodaway-Holt Elementary school in Maitland to compete in a trivia tournament. We had two teams from South Holt (plus Derek and his sister and her husband). Our two teams got first and second place! The Holt-Pray-Scheuerell team got second, but we were short a player too. Sorry N-H alumni, South Holt prevails!

What type of precipitation comes from cumulonimbus clouds? Derek says "Hail", Lindy insisted on "Snow", "Hail" was right and I have not heard the end of it since!

How many ribs in an adult male? 24 I always get a kick out of Derek and Keri getting into sibling arguments. They always end amicably and they are both great trivia players (read: smart!)

We got to visit the Burt family a couple Fridays ago. Keileen and Wyatt played together pretty good and colored together. Mommy got to hold Tanner who is so cute!

Reading a book before bed. We have to ready 3-5 books before bed and Wyatt picks them out. This night he wanted to read them on the couch, no problem with Mommy!

After reading several book, Wyatt picks one out to take to bed. He goes to bed easily and reads for awhile before falling asleep. This is how we found him one night. So funny!
