Christmas 2009 - whew!

Our plans for Christmas got shifted around a bit because of the blizzard we got Christmas Eve, followed by a day or two of blowing snow! Derek has shoveled a lot of snow this winter and we did have to park the car down the road from the house because of drifts (actually, I got stuck in one)!

Wyatt got a neat Advent calendar from my parents, each day has a little person/animal to stick on the nativity scene.

My Mom got this concrete Cardinal from my Dad. Wyatt liked it so we had them pose for a picture by the tree.

It snowed while we were in Tipton too! My Dad got out our old sled (it was old when we used it) for Wyatt. My Mom took him down the street to the City Park to sled down the hills! They had a great time!

After a very long day of traveling and Christmas presents at my parents house, we had Wyatt watch a Diego DVD on the computer in my old room. It was a great way to get him to sleep!

We did finally get to Derek's parents house on Christmas day at about noon. We weren't going anywhere because of the weather, so we had a nice time opening gifts, eating and playing with out new stuff! Here Derek's sister Keri helps Wyatt with a gift.

Santa got to our house early because if the forecasted bad weather. Wyatt opened his stocking on Christmas Eve and got lots of good stuff! Thank you Buntz's for the Pioneer hat!
