Getting the yard-work done

This weekend my parents came up to rural Andrew County and helped with a little yard work. The weather was beautiful and with a couple extra eyes we could get stuff done and Wyatt was well-watched over. Derek and I also gained possession of a heifer calf (rejected twin) that had trouble taking a bottle. After many days of working with her and the bottle and tube feeding we are glad to say she started taking the bottle! Derek wants to call her "Smokey", several people in the area burned off their fields this weekend, so the air was a bit smokey. Stay tuned.....
Grandpa Tom giving Wyatt a ride in the wheelbarrow.

I bought Wyatt this little watering can so he can help me with the flowers and the garden. Being the classic boy, he would pour the water in the dirt and then put his hands in the mud it created.

This bucket of water was pumped out of the well, Wyatt got good at filling his watering can with water and then he started putting handfuls of dirt back in the water. He last bit of action was putting his entire arm in the water and splashing it everywhere!
