August 2010

Wow, August was a blur of activity, especially the countdown to school starting.  We went to Tipton for a wedding (Sarah Johansen and David Harms), hit the State Fair (I working the FFA Bldg the first day while my Mom and Dad took Wyatt around the Fair), and I had a birthday.  No big party, but a very nice day at home with my boys!  School started off very well and I am really looking forward to a great year!  Sand volleyball was wrapped up but HS sports are now in full swing!
While we were at the Fair I took Wyatt through the sheep barn and he got to pet a couple.  He thought they were so funny!  I think their spandex outfits are funny!
I have to go drop some of my students projects/exhibits in the FFA building before the Fair starts.  Cara White went with us and we met up with Jeff Baumann, they teach at Savannah.  Wyatt was trying to help Jeff with some of his crop exhibits.
There were a few days before school started that I had at home with Wyatt.  We got out this magnetic alphabet fishing game one day.  I am not sure who had more fun, Wyatt or one of the kittens!
"No, baby kitty!  My letters!"

We met up with a few friends to go bowling in Savannah one Saturday night.
Here Derek and our friend Chad find their ball for their turn.
Wyatt fell asleep on the way to town and didn't wake up even when we took him into the bowling alley.  He took a bit of a nap on the seats while we got set up to bowl.  IT was a great time and hope to do it again!
